Pernickety is on a distinguished road
Default small, easy, beginner theatre project

Hi all,
I would love to prepare and present a play with my beginner classes (ages 8 and 9), -and possibly video it and give them the DVD at the end of the year - but they are complete beginners so the language and theme must be really simple. I would like to dedicate 45 mins per week for about 10 weeks.

Have any of you undertaken such a project and how did it work?
How much time did you dedicate to it?

Any recommendation for books to buy to give myself a headstart? Either a play itself or short sketches?

thanks in advance
