Sicknesses/Illnesses I was wondering if anyone had some ideas for teaching I have a(n) headache, toothache, stomachache, sore throat, fever, & cold. It would be for a 4th grade class of about 35 Ss.
I'd like to expand on the general "How are you?" greeting, by having all the Ss respond that they're sick, so they'd have a dialogue that goes something like:
A: How are you?
B: I'm sick.
A: What's wrong?
B: I have a stomachache.
I thought this would be a good time to introduce this vocab with all the swine flu frenzy going on recently here in Japan.
The class will be held in a gym, so we've got plenty of room to mingle and run around.
Any ideas for fun games to help them practice the vocabulary?
Thanks,
the o
