searching for fun dictionary game A little help please... I am searching for some fun dictionary game aside from the traditional word translation game. Good for ages 10-12. Thanks a lot. |
Re: searching for fun dictionary game What about crossword puzzles or word search puzzles? What about the game called Concentration? |

Re: searching for fun dictionary game 1 Attachment(s) Hi there guys, I've made a game named STOP. Actually this is an old game I used to play when I was a kid (not long ago ;) ). It's great fun and the students love it. You give them a letter or you can pick a letter from cards whatever, then they have to fill in the blank spaces with names beggining with that letter. Whoever finishes first say out loud STOP and the other students must stop writing otherwise 5 points will be deducted. Check the answers and follow the rules. The idea is to stimulate students to write in english, if they write something in their own language they don't score any points. If two students write the same answer, they only score 5 points. If not, they score 10 points. By the way CSC = City State Country You can find the rules in the game attached to this e-mail. Good luck and enjoy! |
