Why did they say they weren't twins?

Number 3 must be a coffin?
Number 4 must be chilli pepper?
Number 5 must be air?
! and 2 make me think of things that are not mentionable here

I do a lot of riddles with my high school kids... but the adults in the evening are the ones who really love them.... for them I save the more mature ones...
