Default new comer/questions/any idea

Hello, I am new here.
I want to know if anyone has taought college students with indirect questions from Wh questions. I was thinking of showing a movie, that has these questions. Also I review of unit 1, was mostly past tense stuff, and non count/count nouns. I was planning to show a movie for 20 minutes then in groups they have to write the sentences that they elarned in class. I did like this in my freshman class and they liked it. What do others think about this idea?
