Default Here is a good game for 3-12 years old

well, i haven't tried it yet, maybe someone can try it and tell me if it's a great game?

You will have to prepare 2 big cardboard boxes ( check your garbage, lol!) : it has to look nice and mysterious, so you may want to paint them black first and put some creepy stickers or else?

You have to cut two holes on one side and two holes on the opposite side. ( the size of a hand )
Stuff each box with matching items : 2 socks, 2 toothbrushes, 2 brushes, 2 books, 2 shoes, two hats, two balls, two stuffed animals, two spoons, etc. Or you can stuff the boxes with things that go together : a rubber and a crayon, a pretend fork and knive, a bottle ( empty!) and a glass etc.

you can play in team :
-each team sends a player to the box and the teacher announces
" Hum, i am thirsty, i think i need a drink" , and the first team to bring the item to the teacher wins a point.
or " bring me something round, etc"
Another way of playing this game:
player one has its hands in the mistery box and says the item he is touching, player two has to find the matching one.
it can be funny if for each box there are 2 players ( one for each team) because they might touch each other or have the same object in hand

Hi, I think it's a cool idea.

I think this could be linked to a text you are using, focusing on a key character.

Have a number of items (6/8?) in the character's box - set 3/4 teams against each other.
Tell ch. they get points for correct items found.

First, the children could firstly predict what's in the box.
Then, the children could 'send' a member of the team to 'feel' the box and try and work out all 6 items in the box. Write them down.
At that point, give points for the predictions which were correct, then give points for the items 'discovered' in the box.
Then invite all other members of the team to collaborate to write the final list.
Give points when 'revealing' the items.
To finish, you could ask ch. to reason why the objects were needed by the character.
