Conversation games/activities for mixed levels Hey everyone, My name's Lawrence and I was wondering if anyone could help me out I teach a conversation class with 4 housewives, (2 are maybe intermediate level speakers and 2 are lower level speakers). I want to make the lessons fun, but I also want to make sure they are at least learning something useful. Does anyone have any ideas for games or activities that can engage everyone despite their levels. Thanks for the help. Peace |
Re: Conversation games/activities for mixed levels Hi Lawrence! When teaching mixed levels (which is just about all the time here in China) I've found some of the adult lessons and survival English lessons useful at bogglesworldesl. For most of their lessons, a sample dialogue is given (that lower levels can follow closely or higher levels can add to) and students must complete an activity that makes them use the sample language over and over 'til they have it down. --MargieP |
Re: Conversation games/activities for mixed levels Thanks Margie! It helps me out a lot. I'll take a look at those right away. --Lawrence |
