Default Christmas Activities for adults

Looking for some christmas activities for Elementary Adults class, just done adjectives so thought I'd give them some christmas cards to brainstorm. But stuck for something fun beyond that for final years lesson, any ideas greatfully received!

There are some Christmas printables here. And MES has Christmas bingo games and Christmas worksheets with mazes, crosswords, word searches etc. Christmas coloring pages to give out are also nice. For younger kids, you could even use them as prizes.

For adults, certainly making a Christmas card as more of a craft item is good fun. You could make a wreath. You could just sing some Christmas songs. If you have the means, making cookies or even just decorating cookies can be a good activity. Cooking is an everyday event that is often skipped in most classes, but shopping for the materials, reading a recipe, and the actions involved with preparation provide a lot of exposure to language growth.

Singing Christmas songs is always fun for adults as it's the time of the year when they are especially open to singing and having fun. Last year I asked them all to bring in something traditional. Students love talking to their ESL tutors about their traditions and why they love Christmas. MESMARK has some good ideas about cooking, but if your classroom is limited just bringing in certain items (food or otherwise) and presenting them to the class is a good alternative.
