Default Terminologies on Singing Styles & Tecniques

What is a person who does “vibrato” in his singing style (like Elvis Presley) called? For example, a person who does “melisma” (like Mariah Carey(?) could be called “malismatic”(?) and someone who does jazz is a jazzer, right?

How about a person whose voice could not follow correctly a tune? What do we call him? Finally, what do we call a voice that is inherently always out-of-tune no matter how the singer tries to follow a tune?

Will appreciate English words -- technical, slang or jargon – especially if their level/type of usage are explained.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Default Re: Terminologies on Singing Styles & Tecniques

Some singing problems come from hearing problems.
A person who is "tone deaf" is somewhat insensitive to differences in musical pitch.
