p.138 (from famous UK writer)

- [...] might want to suggest someone else to (I don't think to here could be interpreted as in order to) read the letter [...]

Normally I would say to do after suggest is wrong English. But the problem is, this time it sounds OK to me, and the writer is still alive, so the theory that she used 18th/19th century English is not possible.

It sounds odd - but without more context it's impossible to say. Could quote the full source (author, title, publication date and publisher) and quote the whole paragraph - or at least 90 words. That doesn't break copyright and will be much clearer.

I moved the quote from a file of mine. But my file does not have the entire thing. I will come back when I have laid my hands on the book that is buried in the mountains of books in my house. It will take some time.
