Past - but the verb is wrong.
I should have read Andrew Marvell last week, but I didn't and I read something else. It was a Sherlock Holmes story.

should + past infinitive = it was necessary but I didn't do it. But here you did read the Sherlock Holmes story, so "should have been" doesn't make sense.
