New website for sharing ESL teaching materials Hi, My name is Stein Setvik. My wife and I teach ESL in Japan and we just launched a new website for sharing ESL teaching materials, games, activities, and worksheets online. The site is called Creative Chalk Creative Chalk | Share teaching materials!. We've got a lot of great materials on the site and are hoping to attract a community of ESL teachers to help us build it into an even better resource. To that end, we're running a contest. We'll be giving away two $35 Amazon.com gift certificates to the two best ESL materials uploaded to our site by October 22nd. Sign up, fill out a 1 page survey, and upload one or more ESL materials/activities you use to enter the contest. We're passionate about the site and hope to make it into a robust resource for ESL teachers around the world. We're always looking for feedback on how to improve the site, so please check it out if you have a chance and let us know what you think. Thanks in advance! |
Re: New website for sharing ESL teaching materials Dear creativetalk, It is good initiative. I would like to suggest something to you that would make your initiative even more rewarding and create good traffic to your site by providing the following contents to be downloadable from your site. List of contents This would put your site with hundreds of useful contents for reference not only by Japanese users but globally as well. Now on top of that, we would pay you too should any registration results from your giving away our free tools and contents. Check out our offerings at Paperless Homework closes digital divide for greener world and Our reward system at www.foohokok.com Free Homework tools for schools, teachers and students  We are giving these contents plus more to come free for an entire year to ALL schools. So when students copy them (which we welcome), you would get a lot of exposures to your site when students return to get more modules which we would update regularly meanwhile generating revenue from advertising (google adsense) plus commissions from registrations. Further those sites pariticipating in our initiative would get a link back to your site. This would increase your page rank. Our current ranking now is 4 and increasing fast. Those interested may contact us and let us explain to you more details. Regards Alan Paperless Homework closes digital divide for greener world |
Re: New website for sharing ESL teaching materials Going digital certainly matches the biases and preferences of many students, and pandering has its advantages. Thank you for the lead. I'll check out the materials. Who doesn't want less paperwork and a greener planet? |
