The murder mystery is nice but instead of having too many students I've got too few - the beach is just too enticing for them at this stage. I'll keep it as an introductory lesson next year - could work just as well!
The Japanese game seems fun. I'll give it a go.
As for "I've never . . ." we used to play it in Uni as a drinking game. Not sure I could keep a straight face as the memories come flooding back. Those were the days . . . . . :-)
Incidentally, for one class we did 'Who wants to be a millionaire?', which went down well. Just need a good variety of mixed level questions and you're away.
