will remember me or remember me I have come up with a scenario and would like to talk about it.
Suppose that you have just been hired to teach in your "old" school. The "old" school refers to the one you graduated from. You are now talking a teacher there. This is what you are saying.
(1) You say, "I am happy to come back and teach (or happy to be coming back to teach) next week. I hope that my previous teachers still remember me."
(2) You say, "I am happy to come back and teach (or happy to be coming back to teach) next week. I hope that my previous teachers will still remember me."
May I ask two questions?
(A) Which one is grammatically correct - "happy to come back and teach" or "happy to be coming back to teach"?
(B) Which one is correct - "still remember me" or "will still remember me"?
Thanks a lot.
