 Can you describe a wind as hard, heavy or strong?
I am not sure if I can use the following adjectives and adverbs when I talk about winds.
(1) a strong wind
(2) a hard wind
(3) a heavy wind
(4) A wind is blowing strongly.
(5) A wind is blowing hard.
(6) A wind is blowing heavily.
These adjectives and adverbs sound OK in my native language. I am not sure if they work in English. Please explain my question. Thank you very much. |
