Re: Any ideas for Halloween? Here is a song you can sing to the melody of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
Twinkle, twinkle, candlelight
Make my jack o' lantern bright
Make it shine, make it glow
As from house to house we go
Twinkle, twinkle, candlelight
Make my jack o' lantern bright
You can use this to explain how a pumpkin becomes a jack o' lantern when it is scooped and a face is cut out in it and a candle inserted to make the face glow in the dark.
Simple little ghosts can be made using tissue paper, paper towel or even toilet paper, just crumple some into a small ball and wrap the bigger sheet around this head form and tie thread around the neck so you can hang them up.
In Canada kids traditionally love to make bats, draw pumpkins with faces and black cats.
