I had to get an FBI Background check last winter. Even though (at the time) their website said to allow 8 to 10 weeks, the FBI received my request on 11/18/2009 and I received the results on 02/08/2010. So it took almost exactly 12 weeks. I see they've updated their website with "processing times may take up to 12 weeks" now... |
