two activities i really like for practicing pronunciation is student dictation & the relay game.
for the dictation, have each student write a very short (2-4 sentences) paragraph about something you choose. then the 3 students will sit together and one student will read their paragraph as the other students listen and write. this really forces the reader to really focus on their pronunciation. before you start this exercise you may want to teach phrases such as, 'could you repeat that?' and 'could you slow down please?'. you might also want to have each student read their paragraph to you so you can correct any pronunciation problems before they read to the group.
another activity is the
relay game but instead of playing in teams (because you only have 3 students) have them play against a timer. maybe set the timer at 3 minutes in the beginning and then shorten the time as the game goes on. if they beat the timer, they get a point otherwise the teacher gets a point. students love to compete against the teacher.
