Re: Summer Camps - Do you teach them? I used to have to sit at the Board of Education during the summer months for a few hours each day, mostly because they couldn't allow me a totally free month off.
Some places/schools require the teachers to do summer programs, demo lessons, etc. In some cases there's a real need. Yet others are much like my old situation: The teachers have to do something to earn a paycheck while the school's closed... and it doesn't really matter what that something is.
These days, there's a lot that can be accomplished with the Internet. It could also be worse. The place/school could say no work = no pay. |
