Re: present progressive Nunzia: I don't completely understand your question. The present progressive can be used to discuss arrangements or 'plans' and when you're working is certainly a plan! Most jobs have a schedule (they don't let you come whenever you feel like it) and so "When are you working?" is another way to ask "When do you plan to work?"
It's a pretty normal question and one my wife asks me at least once a week, because my schedule changes.
