English Academic Supervisor

Requirements :
Master degree in English language
Diploma of English Language teaching to Adults (DELTA)
Minimum three years experience in teaching English Language
Minimum three years experience in supervising
Have a Certificate of English Language teaching to Adults (CELTA) with minimum two years practical experience.


Duties & Responsibilities
Supervising the performance of the teaching staff team members,
Coordinating with the team leader to prepare reports about the teaching staff members every 3 months,
Contributing in assessing the curriculum and providing the academic consultation,
Contributing in supervising teaching English language process,
following up and exchanging opinions with the teaching staff team members about the level of the students and the teaching process to be reported to the team leader,

Contributing in the educational assessment committee,
Contributing in timetabling preparations,
Coordinating with students’ affairs specialist to follow up the students’ attendance and their absence as well as their behavior,
Filing the students’ academic and administrative reports.
Every academic supervisor will be responsible for his assigned educational stage and should report to the team leader about it.
Deliver English language in case of any instructors’ absence or shortage.

The maximum number of teaching hours for the academic supervisors is six per week, in addition to the other responsibilities and tasks as well as duties assigned

Salary and Benefits
Monthly salary : KD 900
Housing allowance: KD 250/month
Transportation allowance KD 50/month
Return Airfare reimbursment

Work schedule :
Summer time : 7 AM - 14:00 PM
Winter Time : 7:30 AM - 14:30 PM

Teaching hours : 6 hours/week, Monday - Friday work week
No office hours are required
