Yeah, with time, they'll come around. It's hard to change the dynamics of a class, but you'll get there.
I also think it's Ok to occasionally use L1 and explain to them what these activites (games) are supposed to accomplish. While you play games you also practice English and get used to speaking, interacting, and thinking in English. That's the whole point! |
