Re: Looking for teacher's textbooks I particularly like the Headway series by Oxford. The material works very well, is flexible, yet doesn't jump around from chapter to chapter - something other textbooks have a tendency to do.
A lot of people like Side by Side, too. However, I have a problem with the dialogues and drilling exercises which practice for the sake of practice. They don't feel so real or readily applicable.
Can I ask which nationality of students you'll teach? There are a couple of books which have been written for a specific nationality, or which just work better with native Spanish speakers, or Japanese speakers, etc.
Good luck. |
