I like that quote of yours Kisito about grammar rules being like scaffoldings on a building. You remind me of my French language teacher in those days. In the mornings when he entered the classroom we would all stand and recite the famous rule: "Le participe passe s'acorde en genre et en nombre......" I am sure I got it worng
after all those years..
But it was really fun reciting those rules every morning.
