Tic-Tac-Toe can be a lot of fun for the students. I find if you're playing any kind of game, asking students "How do you spell ______?", then you are just wasting your breath and taking precious moments of practice time away from more of your students. The idea with teaching is to get these kids to talk as much as you can, so in this case the teacher should rotate. Have the students play the part of the teacher, asking the questions. This way you get the students asking and the students answering, and you can sit down and read that magazine that you've been dying to look at.
Just joking about that last part, but I hope you see what I'm saying. Double your kids speaking time!
