Roll the die. The highest number goes first. Play moves to the left. Move the marker the number of spaces that you roll. Say the English name for the word on the square that you land on. If you are correct, you stay where you are and play passes to the next person. If you are wrong, move back a space and say that word. If you are correct, stay where you are. If you are wrong, move back one more space and try again. Continue in this manner until you are correct. You must roll the exact number to land on "Finish" in order to win.
