I don't think this flies in the US. Not unless your job is wining and dining clients, etc...
I would always see Korean businessmen splitting a bottle of Soju at lunch. I think this is pretty normal. For the most part, it's just a shot or 2 each. I never saw anyone get hammered at lunch. Dinner on the other hand....
That being said, I NEVER saw any teachers drinking at lunch. I think this would be frowned upon in Korea. |
